Having chatted to Steve this evening at Allington, the subject of timing equipment, especially transponders, came up.

The rumour about personal transponders is well founded, they will be available from Steve at Access Models - the price is expected to be £65 or possibly less.
My advice, if you're interested is to contact him ASAP - numbers of the first batch are limited - and a lot of people have got their names down.
