How about,
If we are short on removal vehicles,
Sunday = dismantle and stack near doors.
Monday = tidy up.
Tuesday = move everything on Transit.
I should be able to help on Sunday and Tuesday,

I can help Sunday evening till whenever and Tuesday daytime, Tuesday evening i'm racing.

Looks like a good plan batman, i mean Ian!

Think the longest job will be getting the actual Arena hall floor clean and ready to hand back... it's in a state with fluff etc under our track, exciting stuff but if you want to race there again in winter then its got to be done well.

I'd hope to see as many folks as possible... no effort really has had to be done for 6mths since the original track build, Ben and Myself have been doing the track changeovers for Arena X series so you all should be well rested ready for putting a few hours in for the club, only thing thats being asked of you guys this year as the outdoor venue is being sorted too.

please don't leave it to the minority, you've all raced your cars on it so have had fun from it, it'll only be a few hours of calorie burning and you can chill out again!

don't think it'll take long to dismantle to be fair... can we have a mini digger Ian? mwahahaha I've got the club drill, but Ben has lost all the philips screwdriver bits around the track!

Definitely a Transit truck job, haven't got an issue using my car but its half full of crap already and tbh there won't be a lot down there that will fit in it!!

Anyways, i'll sort the containers ready to accept it all... rostrum is first thing to go in red container (not really red anymore!) then it can be used as shelving in there for the summer ; )

Carpet wants keeping on top of stuff really so animals don't find homes in it, could do with some polythene to wrap it in to keep it dry and cleanish too!

Is there a box to put the big tv/monitor in? if not.. can someone please try and blag one big enough or it and some bubblewrap to wrap it up, assuming its going in storage?

Priority Job Sunday... lighting needs to come down so it can be fitted on outdoor rostrum for tuesday night racing, so need some bodies and ladders for that?

Its being dismantled Sunday Will, got to get it taken down and moved out of area to clean underneath like Ian said, if you are racing Sunday and want to help then great stuff.

We want everyone racing Tuesday night so we'll all work as hard as possible to make it happen.

The jumps etc won't take long to break down with the way they were properly built to be modular, the carpet will roll up easy, lugging hoses will be a slog but easy to unload... only issue with that is i need them Tuesday afternoon to lay the track with!

guess i'm filling my car with them then!

There is still an Arena X finale to go, which means the track will be changed this week too... so we'll try and be clever with layout to make things easier if possible for packing away... the stuff we won't be using can be taken down to Gonerby before Sunday if there is chance of a cheeky run or 2 with the truck?

plus the outdoor track has still got to be finished.. been stuffed by weather last week

now who do i make this wage invoice out to? a grand a week wasn't it with minimum wage?! its ok Chris, mop the puddle up, kidding (ish!)

Woops, I am now in the running for the worst uncle ever award. I have been reminded by my good wife that this Sunday is the christening of my neice and I am godfather so not sure if I will make it Sumday.
I will see what time we get done and try to get there later on or maybe Monday instead.
Will you need the lights for Sunday? I may be able to pop down on Saturday to take them down.

No question with that one matey, won't see you Sunday... You gonna be walking round in a trendy Italian suit with a violin case to hide your Tommy Gun in!

We can get away without lights I'd have thought... Just means we can't pull a late one sunday, but considering it opens at 7am it will be a long day anyways.

I'm in now for Monday daytime too if needed!

I'm sure that there'll be more tomorrow to finish off... Are we meeting at Arena to get it blitzed?

Tuesday night is race night as advertised, you bring your kit down to Gonerby Moor and we'll sort it from there, Ben and myself are going to get as much done at both venues tomorrow daytime as physically possible with 4 hands... miracles don't happen, although we are prepared to graft and the situation will be clearer with what needs finishing where by normal meeting time.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO ARENA UK UNTIL MEETING UP AT GONERBY MOOR... EVEN IF IT IS RAINING!

There is no power atm and therefore no longer any lighting in Arena building but a lot to still get moved before cleaning commences,

tbh, will say it although it seems pointless bothering... as usual quite disappointed with the lack of support from members that have used the facility all winter and had a very easy life with no building or putting away of track each week, even your litter has been cleaned up for you weekly without any complaints from us... but it's no surprise, although unfortunately there would have been a lot more work done to improve your new 1/8th track layout had my time been covered with more pairs of hands with indoor venue..... we seriously spoil you lot!

Gonerby Moor wise there is plenty to do on 1/8th track, either way anyone wishing to race on it will be sweeping/tidying before a car is used on it, the later its tidied the later a car is used on it, it's down to you guys.... simples!

You make think it doesn't matter if its got stones on it etc, but we have guest racers for both tracks and why should they have to race on it, marshal on it, or have to look at the mess either... lets take a bit of pride in the facility this year and get it looking tip top!

1/10th track is spot on and ready to use pretty much as it was left at end of September, couple of weeds need pulling at most but overall useable and ready to go, in fact it has been fairly heavily used over last few weeks by newer members testing for Regionals later in year... but tomorrow night neither track will be raced on until 1/8th track is clean of the mess from the few selfish ones that decided to thrash around it before it was finished, chuck track markings around and generally cause mess and with it more work backtracking, big thanks to those silly enough to think they could get away with it as you have effected everyone now!

Tomorrow night is on, as early as you can get down please chaps, it's only one night you need to make a real effort by request and its only being requested because of the huge amount of work we've been left to finish off with indoor venue!

I'm at track from around 7am tomorrow... how many hours are you willing to donate?
