We will be there tomorrow, but will have to leave for a couple of hours mid-morning, have made more staples. Is Mog coming?, didn't get time to make a pulling clamp for astro rolls. |

I'll shall be there in the morning.....I've heard that there is some question over the approach angles on the jumps? the angles are supposedly too steep on the majority - what's everyone's elses opinion on this? |

I think we will need to do some re-profiling on some of the aproaches they have ended up quite vicious!!
Sorry no Mog tomorrow it's having a day out at the Rutland Show.
Kev reckons he can probably do some time in the week, depending where the Mog's working.
Still plenty to do though... |

Hi Guys i have to agree with Phil about the jumps....only by going from the pics the profiles look to steep...with traveling to more tracks now and seeing the layouts and experiencing those tracks i have more insight on how they are designed and what works and what doesn't |

Eeh! I thought you meant Jim, as in Smog the MOG, not uniMOG! DOH!, can we drag them around with my truck, as long as we have the clamp?
Don't agree with me on the approach angles Chris - it was something that was said to me, not by me. And after all that cement and sand we spread to harden up the faces....oh bugger!
See you in the morning... |

Won't bother putting MY phone pics on, Young Phil obviously has a better camera phone!
The good news is we have now got a complete circuit of astro - there's still a fair bit of piping and pinning down to do. The bad news is we haven't done the technical bit as has already been noticed - that's a temporary change and will be rectified in due course.
What we can do however, is to actually have a bit of a practice/bash after an hour's work and tidy up on Tuesday night - that way we can all have a go with our own buggies/ truggies and check the set-up's. This will obviously be FREE for members and for non-members there should be a nominal charge. |
