I think there is two sides to the debate on reprofiling the jumps and it may need more consideration by the members before changes are made.

I think we can safely say that any track work tomorrow is off. It hasn't stopped raining over Grantham since mid morning. If we do try and do anything it will just make a ruddy great mess.

Having said that if the weather does clear at some point I will try and get down and sort some new sheets of ply out to go on the rostrum as i have the van at home this weekend. So if anybody can give me a lift it would be apreciated.

Cheers

Chris

Track work Saturday 25th Jully

As a last push before our 8o9 round on the second of August we need as many people as possible to help out on Saturday the 25th.

Please post on here if you can help out. The weather looks good so we should get everything finished.

I will update this post with a list of jobs shortly.

Cheers

Chris

Whilst I know I'm away (again - some might say!) can I please beg anyone available to help Chris clear up and tidy the carpark and do the little jobs that need sorting before we host the meeting on the 2nd August - and then help out on the day as we will need marshalls for car parking, flag wavinhg etc...

I know that there are none of us racing this season but this event will help put us on the map as a club and put money in the bank to ensure our future. It would also be a suggestion that you attend, even as a spectator, if you have any intention of competing next year (as I intend to - someone has to chase everyone else!) it may give you an insight to how 'the big boys' do it.

Please help out if you can, I know it's a pain but there are quite a few of you that enjoy the facility - it's just a shame that the number that do is far greater than the number that help out.

Kev will be down about 8am (assuming it's not to wet) with the dozer to give the carpark a quick once over.

Ady is going to open up. I will be down mid morning.

Anybody else down?

With winter looming, would now be a good time to try and get the jumps sorted / repaired where necessarry and any other odd jobs done that still need doing, before we start the winter series?
