| It would be great if Laughton Manor could be kept on all year around as Gonerby is just far too far for me, and a few others, to travel in an evening. |

Laughton Manor is a great indoor place for cold winter nights - but truth be known, as a club it's been a drain financially - the regular attendances aren't always enought to cover the rent. Last night was a case in point, the takings didn't cover and someone had to stick their hand in their pocket and pay extra.
Moving to Gonerby might be later in the year as the track hace been lifted for groundworks which have yet to commence - this is due to current conditions down there and a lack of funds.
Whilst Tuesday evening's might be out of the question for some of you when we go back outdoors, maybe we could arrange weekends where you could attend. The difference between indoor on a relatively tight, short track and outdoors on a track covering nearly an acre, with a track width of 4 metres....big jumps, fresh air, sunshine and a rostrum so you can see the corners....eeeh, bliss!
Whatever happens we won't go back outdoors for evenings until the clocks go forward..too dark 'till then. |

Yea it was definately the coldest night racing yet. Apart from that it was an enjoyable one.

Now I certainly thought that the layout last night was excellent (Thanks men!) - I really enjoyed myself, didn't finish all my races but I now know that my engine is under-tuned (waaayyy too rich!) but the handling is getting better, speedy servo and finally the right tyres!
Next week I shall be going for a win! |
