I've been a bit occupied over the last week - but would just like to congratulate Chris and thank him for his effort, this is something he's taken on board himself, and quite frankly..... What a result!
Question though..... can it now be astro'd or does it need further work or topsoil adding? |

Fantastic news with what you have all achieved well done. Will not be able to help much this year, but will try when i can.
May i suggest one thing about the track Speaking from experience of trying to maintain the track last year and failed miserabley.
After you have have mark out the track you will have the infield.. Last year the biggest problem was the track was laying lower than the infield so the water would gather on the track..
So After you have layed the track design out how about lowering the infield or at least a couple of feet from the track so the water will always go into the infield then put rubble or subbase in that area Marshall points could be the same level as the track so not to get waterlogged either
just an idea.
Hope it all goes well
Ben. |

I will have about 5 tons of rubble for the price of a beer or two for the lorry driver if you want it, not ready yet but will be soon! It will be in 1 ton bags and could be dropped at the track in the next couple of weeks. Let me know if you want it for any drainage trenches etc... |
