Actually Chris WAS holding the shovel - but notice there was nothing on it.
The tune he was dancing to went "dum de dum de dum de dah dah oh leery" , then he skipped a little way forward and ba.... he tried to convince us it was better when he had his bells tied on.. |

Now now everybody, The point was that the track should not open on a Tuesday night for a "bash" just because "THE CLUB" is racing at a TEMPORARY location some people don't like. The decision was made to race at Newark for the best interests of the club to try and bring the vast majority of drivers back together for a few weeks and then move to the new track as a "CLUB".
I think the point is that if equipment was being dropped off on say a Wednesday night and those involved in the hard work wan'ted to have a little play, they hey what the hell you deserve it, it doesn't matter, it was the fact it was a Tuesday night.
This is not worth falling out over and is not really the thing to be discussed on a public forum.
Just my personel thoughts on the subject
Can we all please get back on topic now before I have to start moderating posts.
Cheers

Just a quick question....When the track is up and running will all members have a key to the gate so the track can be used for a practice or will it only be open on "race nights/days". Most other clubs allow members to use there tracks for practice...just a thought... |
