We are available Saturday for track work, however unfortunately won't be racing tomorrow night, so will mention a few thoughts it may be worth discussing tomorrow.
Laying of astro went well Saturday, however pile of cut astro is going down. Do we need Tim & his telehandler down there sooner, rather than later ? While the right hand end of the track is relatively bare, the 4m wide astro could be rolled out this end ready for Phil to drag it into position with his truck. Also there are some reasonable rolls in the big pile on the spare car park that could be rolled out & cut into 4m strips.
If we moved all of the yellow piping onto the track, he could clear all of the car park, stacking all the narrow rolls in a pile maybe at the edge of the spare car park (do we need to cut up one or two?), he could also move all of the waste astro into one pile out of the way.
Everything else we should be able to manage with a bit of muscle, as long as the narrow rolls of astro are accessible, we should be able to move these ourselves if we need to use them.
Must remember to save some astro for covering the shuttering on the jumps - sorry Chris |

Tim and his Telehandler will be necessary, the big rolls by the container will need lifting and placing ready - we towed a couple of bits about Saturday but did bend the scaffold tubes trying to roll them out - that's when we resorted to 'THE CLAMP' absolute boon that piece of kit - saved all that hard manual work.
And don't forget you won't have my truck for a fortnight - it'll be parked at Heathrow as I've no other vehicles big enough for 4 people and the wife's luggage!
(yes - astro for the shuttering, if Chris wants it painted, let him get on with it - it'll still look like pallet city |

Main job as far as I can tell is to get the remaining rolls of prepared astro down and hosing on the completed sections.
Tidy up the edges of astro over the jumps.
Lay the astro on the pit lane exit.
Install shuttering to track edge between the race control cabin and pit ramp entrance.
